Who is Katerina Kulp?
I was born in Estonia, and at 15 I moved to England. At 23, I made another big move, this time across the Atlantic to Chicago, United States. In between those places, one thing has stayed constant: I always had a camera in my hand!
That childhood obsession eventually became a 12-year career in digital storytelling. I have written, directed, performed in, produced and edited thousands of short-form stories, building a global audience of more than 3 million people and over 2 billion views along the way.
I've also created 50+ commercials for international brands and organizations, working in short-form taught me how to find a story quickly, build characters people care about, and make an idea work within even the tightest format!
I love figuring out how a scene should look and feel, finding the right performance and turning ideas to finished projects and seeing how people respond to them.
Now, I'm taking that lifelong obsession into narrative film and documentary, creating stories that give me more time to explore people, relationships, identity, culture, and the wonderfully strange things that make us human!

I've been filming for over half my life.
